Currently CarbonData uses Snappy as default codec to compress its columnar file, Other than SNAPPY carbondata supports zstd/gzip. This Issue is targeted to support:

1. qat compression codec.

Benefits of qat are :
 # qat produces data using the standard gzip format (RFC1952) with extended headers. The data can be decompressed with a compliant gzip implementation. 
 # qat is design to take full advantage of the acceleration of compression and decompression provided by Intel® QuickAssist Technology.
